Madhuri Dixit pens a sweet birthday wish for Sanjay Leela Bhansali, recalls her experience of working in Devdas

On Sanjay Leela Bhansali's birth anniversary, wishes come pouring in for the director from many in the film fraternity. Likewise, Madhuri Dixit took to her Twitter handle to pen a sweet note for Bhansali. "I wish you a very happy birthday #SanjayLeelaBhansali. Working with you in #Devdas was such a delight & a fun experience. May you continue achieving cinematic excellence this year & always (birthday cracker emoji)," wrote Dixit as she wished her Devdas director.

Devdas was a 2002 romantic-drama film starring Shah Rukh Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Madhuri Dixit in the lead roles. Madhuri played the role of Chandramukhi, while Shah Rukh played Devdas and Aishwarya Rai played Paro. The film was a massive hit at the box office and its characters became so iconic that they are still played in many theatrical acts and plays. Meanwhile, Sanjay Leela Bhansali's upcoming film Gangubai Kathiawadi is all set to release on July 30th. The teaser of the film will drop today as it is kept special for Bhansali's birthday.
