South Indian superstar Samantha Ruthprabhu has become the first South Indian actress to be invited to speak at the IFFI (International Film Festival of India) in Goa.
The film festival will be held from November 20 to 28. For the first time, the organizers are inviting a South Indian actress to speak at the festival.
After the success of the Amazon series 'Family Man', Samantha has become a star known all over India.
Samantha's performance in the hugely successful series was also highly acclaimed.
Manoj Bajpayee, National Award winner and fellow star in Family Man, also speaks at IFFI.
Samantha earlier had gotten a divorce from South Indian film star Naga Chaitanya.
Since then, the actor has been sharing pictures with friends about going on trips and finding other things she likes beyond films on social media.
The actress is currently starring in Vighnesh Sivan's Kathuvakula Rand Kathal. The film stars Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi in other important roles.
Samantha made her acting debut in Gautham Menon's highly acclaimed Telugu romance film Ye Maaya Chesave (2010), for which she won a Filmfare Award and a Nandi Award for Best Debut Actress. Samantha went on to become just the second actress to win both the Filmfare Award for Best Tamil Actress and the Filmfare Award for Best Telugu Actress in the same year, for her roles in Neethaane En Ponvasantham (2012) and Eega (2012)
