Saif Ali Khan's son Ibrahim Khan is all set to star in the Hindi remake of Pranav Mohanlal starrer Hridayam'. The remake rights of the film were recently given to Bollywood production companies Dharma Productions and Fox Star Studios. Karan Johar has announced that the film will be remade not only in Hindi but also in Tamil and Telugu.
Reports suggest that Karan Johar will launch Ibrahim Khan into Bollywood through ‘Hridayam’. But there have been no official announcements about the same. Ibrahim is the Assistant Director of 'Rocky or Rani Ki Prem Kahani' directed by Karan Johar.
'Hridayam' directed by Vineeth Sreenivasan is one of the hit Malayalam movies of the Covid era. 'Hridayam' was nominated for Best Popular Film at the 2021 State Film Awards. Hisham Abdul Wahab, the music director of the film, also received the award.
The film is produced by Visakh Subramaniam under the banner of Maryland Cinemas. At the time of Covid, the film had grossed over Rs 50 crore. The film also stars Darshana Rajendran, Kalyani Priyadarshan, and Aju Varghese in the lead roles.
