However, things weren't this great during Saif Ali Khan's first marriage. The Sacred Games actor got married at the young age of 20 to his Amrita Singh despite a large age difference. The Nawab of Pataudi has now revealed that he once apologized to his ex-wife Amrita Singh in front of everyone for his behavior.
The actor said the incident took place in the 90s. He said that it all happened after the release of his film 'Main Khiladi Tu Anari'. The actor added saying that a couple of his female fans asked him for a dance. Saif said he danced with them for a bit but later one of the girl's boyfriend threatened to smash his face after saying he has a million-dollar face and he would love to smash it. The same guy later punched Saif Ali Khan on his forehead. The whole debacle brought a lot of bad press around the actor. He also said that he later apologized to his then-wife Amrita Singh for getting into a mess.
Saif said that he was alone at the night club and his co-star Mamta Kulkarni was not present at the club. The actor also did not file a police complaint as he wanted to keep the matter private. The actor revealed that Amrita was very angry at him about the incident. However, Saif Ali Khan promised her that he won't ever get into any similar situation again.
