Rana Daggubati and Sai Pallavi have teamed up for the first time for the movie Virataparvam. This period drama is being directed by Venu Udugula. The film comes up with the tagline 'Revolution is an act of Love.' Ever since the film went on floors, it is being rumored that Sai Pallavi is playing the role of a Naxalite in it. It was also stated that she will feature as a country-folk singer. What we hear now is that she is playing the role of a normal village girl. She comes across Rana and his Naxalite group during a shoot out at her village.
After seeing Rana and his antics, Sai Pallavi decides to learn about him. When she starts finding his whereabouts, Pallavi learns about Rana's Naxalite group and his ideologies. Impressed with them, Sai Pallavi joins the Dalam. It was also rumored that Rana will have press connections in this movie. But we hear that there is no truth in the news. He will portray the role of an idealistic Naxalite and nothing more than that.
According to the sources, the major portion of Virata Parvam's shoot got wrapped up. Only a few scenes got left to get filmed. These scenes will get filmed in Hyderabad and Vikarabad. This schedule will last for 10 days. Rana, Sai Pallavi, and Priyamani will take part in this schedule. Virataparvam features Priyamani, Nandita Das, Zarina Wahab, Eeshwari Rao, Sai Chand, and Rahul Ramakrishna in the other important roles. The film is aiming for a release towards the end of this year.
