Madhavan plays the role of Nambi Narayanan in the film. Rocketry: The Nambi Effect is also Madhavan's first directorial venture. Madhavan himself has written and directed the film. R Madhavan's Rocketry: The Nambi Effect received rave reviews at the 75th Cannes Film Festival.
Dr. Varghese Moolan is the co-producer of the film. He added that the film's trailer has been getting a good response from the audience since its release in April 2021.
Shah Rukh Khan and Suriya will be making guest appearances in Rocketry. Prajesh Sen, director of the films Captain and Vellam, is a co-director of the film.
Madhavan's Tricolor Films and Hollywood production company 27 Way Investments are the producers of the film. The movie will hit theaters on July 1.
