RIP Irrfan Khan: Radhika Madan on the untimely demise of the actor, 'He was a fighter and one of the strongest person I knew'

On Wednesday morning, the news of the demise of Irrfan Khan shocked the nation. Irrfan was one of the finest actors of Bollywood and created his true legacy in the industry. His last Bollywood film Angrezi Medium saw Radhika Madan playing the role of his daughter. On Irrfan's death, Radhika says that her heart aches when she thinks about it. She also added that Irrfan was one of the strongest people she knew and a true fighter. She wrote, "I don't know what to say. My heart aches when I write this. He was one of the strongest people I knew, a fighter. And so are Sutapa ma'am, Babil and Ayan. I'm just grateful that our paths crossed in this lifetime. He is and will always be an inspiration to many. A legend. The man who changed the wave of the Indian film industry. May his soul rest in peace." Irrfan Khan was suffering from a rare type of cancer. It was detected in 2018 and since then the actor was undergoing treatment for the same. Even though he got better with time, his health deteriorated on Tuesday. He was immediately taken to the Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai where he succumbed to a colon infection. Irrfan's close friends in the industry are shocked to hear the news but they will always remember him through his legendary work. They all took to their social media handle to pay their last tribute to the actor and give their condolences to the family.
