RIP Irrfan Khan: Priyanka Chopra Jonas mourns the loss of the actor, says 'You inspired so many of us'

As the saddening news of the demise of Irrfan Khan broke this morning, many Bollywood celebrities are mourning the loss of the actor. Priyanka Chopra, who worked with Irrfan in 7 Khoon Maaf, took to her social media handle to express her condolences. Priyanka Chopra shared a throwback picture with him from the sets of the film. She wrote, "The charisma you brought to everything you did was pure magic. Your talent forged the way for so many in so many avenues... You inspired so many of us. #IrrfanKhan you will truly be missed. Condolences to the family."

Irrfan Khan was suffering from a rare type of cancer and was undergoing treatment for the same. Even though he got better with time, his health deteriorated suddenly and was taken to Kokilaben Hospital yesterday. After the news of his demise, Bollywood celebrities like Amitabh Bachchan, Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar and others paid their last tribute to the actor. In an official statement released by the family members of Irrfan, it stated that the actor fought till the very end. “I trust, I have surrendered”; These were some of the many words that Irrfan expressed in a heartfelt note he wrote in 2018 opening up about his fight with cancer.
