Talented actress Regina Cassandra is currently working for the film Soorpanagai. Directed by Caarthick Raju, this film is a Tamil-Telugu bilingual thriller. The Telugu version got titled as Nene Na. Most of the film's shoot happened near Courtrallam and the forest areas of Kollam. Sharing her experiences, Regina said that they used to come across various wild animals during the shoot.
Speaking to the popular news daily Indian express, Regina said that they have shot for about 35 days in the forest areas. One day, while shooting, the team spotted two wild boars at a distance. One rule everyone believes in that wild animals don't do anything if we don't disturb them. The team remained silent and after some time, the boars left the place. Another day, one of the crew members has spotted a leopard. Regina said that wild monkeys used to be the regular visitors of the sets.
One thing the actress enjoyed the most during the forest shoot is the food. She got to taste the local cuisine while shooting for this film. Regina, along with director Caarthick Raju, used to visit various local food joints and tasted local delicacies like poondu dosas, nongu and kiliki.
Regina plays the role of an archaeologist in this film. Watching various videos on archaeology and reading a lot of material has helped Regina to portray the character without being afraid of it. Vennela Kishore played an important role in the film. Soorpanagai will hit the screens in summer this year.
