The Mumbai Police later filed a case against the Jayeshbhai Jordaar actor, and the latest news is that he has been summoned for questioning by the police this month, on August 22.
According to recent rumors, Ranveer Singh has been brought to the police station for questioning in connection with his Paper magazine nude photoshoot. An NGO filed the case at Chembur Police Station, and the police decided to intervene and take action. According to reports, officers from the aforementioned police station were also dispatched to the actor's home to serve him with a notice requesting that he cooperate with the inquiry. However, they were told that he was out of town.
Readers may recall that Ranveer Singh used Instagram to publish photographs from his nude photoshoot for Paper Magazine. While his industry peers have backed him up in his decisions, an NGO has launched a case against him for hurting female sensibilities and insulting a woman's modesty. Following their complaint, the Mumbai police filed an FIR against the actor under sections 292, 293, and 509 of the Indian Penal Code, as well as section 67A of the Information Technology Act.
