Ranveer Singh to remake Amitabh Bachchan's classic action-drama Shahenshah

There are a few vigilante dramas in the Indian film industry. Whenever you make a list of that genre, Amitabh Bachchan's Shahenshah will definitely get a place in it. This action drama is one of the major blockbusters in the career of Mr. Bachchan. Now, plans are being made to remake this film once again in Hindi. This time, Ranveer Singh will step into the shoes of Amitabh Bachchan.

There is no official confirmation on this news yet. Speaking in a recent interview, Shahenshah's director Tinnu Anand said that he is planning to remake the film soon. He said that he will give away more details when things get normalized in the country. He didn't open up on the cast of the film. But according to the close sources, Tinnu is keen on roping in Ranveer Singh as the lead hero. It seems that the talks are going on between both Ranveer and Tinnu right now. The makers will give an official confirmation once the actor signs the film.
