Randeep Hooda gears up for his lead role next to Chris Hemsworth in the upcoming film Extraction. It is a Netflix Initiative. Randeep Hooda has worked in Bollywood films such as Highway, Love Aaj Kal, Kick, etc. This film may be his first debut in Hollywood. The film crew consists of some well-known Hollywood names. The director will be Sam Hargrave. While the story is by Joe Russo from the famous duo of Russo Brothers. Who have directed blockbuster films like Avengers: Infinity War and 21 Bridges.
Hooda expresses his excitement for the film saying "I get to do a lot of action in the movie. I might be the first Indian male actor to do such an action-packed role in a Hollywood film. It was a great experience working with Hemsworth, Russo brothers and the director, Sam Hargrave."
Describing his character in the film, he said "It is described as a wrecking ball in the script. He’s had a run as military personnel and is now working for Ovi’s father. For the action shots, we rehearsed twice a day for 10 days, since many of my roles so far have been more dramatic. I must say, I’ve never had a director on a wire, hanging next to me, giving me instructions." Sounds like Hooda is having the time of his life, working hard next to such big names. The film will be streaming on Netflix on April 24, 2020. This seems like a shorter wait as both Hollywood and Bollywood fans can't wait to watch the film. Hooda will also be starring in Radhe. He will be playing the role of a villain alongside Salman Khan. Seems like everything is working out for Hooda.
