As there is a huge discussion going over 'Pappu' scene in Kamma Rajyam lo Kadapa Reddlu movie trailer, Ram Gopal Varma decodes it in a TV channel interview.
Controversial director Ram Gopal Varma is in the news again and this time, it is regarding his new film, Kamma Rajyam Lo Kadapa Reddlu. The trailer of this film released a few days back and created ripples in the Andhra Pradesh political circles. RGV took a dig at all the political leaders of AP and shot satirical scenes on them.
One-shot which caught attention in the trailer was Chandrababu Naidu's character serving Pappu (dal) to his son Lokesh. Many of TDP party workers found it offensive and lashed out on RGV. In a recent TV interview, RGV opened up on that scene.
He said that he never said those characters' names as Chandra Babu and Lokesh. He stated that it a normal scene where a father serves Pappu to his son, which is a common sight in every household. He further blamed the audience for wrongly assuming them as Babu and Lokesh.
It is clearly visible that RGV took a dig at TDP Chief but as usual, the director defended his work by making such statements.
