The Academy Awards season is around the corner and this grand event will happen on February 9th. There are a bunch of Hollywood movies that are contending in most of the categories this season, like, Joker, Once Upon A Time in Hollywood and 1917.
1917 is carrying a huge buzz among the others and is one of the hot favorites this season. It has got nominated in 10 categories, including the Best Picture. This World War I drama has released in India last week and is receiving a tremendous response from the audience.
Star heroine Rakul Preet Singh has also watched the film and couldn't hold her excitement on praising it. She termed it as a masterpiece. Rakul tweeted, "1917 is not a film, it’s a MASTERPIECE! All I can say is it left me speechless, spellbound and in awe of the team to have pulled this through. Not a second to blink or look away.JUST WOW! And WOW !! Renowned director Sam Mendes has directed 1917 on the basis of the war stories he heard from his grandfather. Veteran camera genius Roger Deakins has handled the cinematography of this movie.
