Rajinikanth's Annaatthe resumes in Chennai

Superstar Rajinikanth has been taking a rest for the past three months after a minor health scare in December 2020. At that time, Rajinikanth had resumed the shooting of Annaatthe after a gap of nine months due to the novel coronavirus pandemic. Despite following Covid-19 regulations, eight members tested positive for the novel coronavirus. Rajinikanth was hospitalized in Hyderabad due to heavy fluctuation in blood pressure. The makers of Sun Pictures have taken Rajinikanth's health into consideration and decided to shift the shooting venue from Hyderabad to Chennai.

As reported earlier, Rajinikanth has resumed the shooting of Annaatthe in Chennai today. The makers of Annaatthe have built several sets in a private film city in Chennai so that the rest of the film can be shot in the city. Soon, we can expect other stars to shoot for the film in Chennai. If reports are anything to be believed, the team will also move to Coimbatore and Pollachi for a mini schedule to finish the rest of the film. Annaatthe boasts an ensemble cast including Rajinikanth, Meena, Nayanthara, Khushbu, Keerthy Suresh, Prakash Raj, and Soori in important roles.
