Rajinikanth To Head To The US For Health Check-Up

Back in April, Superstar Rajinikanth shot for a month-long schedule of his upcoming film Annaatthe. Now, it is said that before he resumes the shoot, he will make a quick trip to the US for a medical check-up. Years ago, Rajinikanth went to the US for a kidney transplant surgery and has been visiting the country on and off for a medical check-up. Reportedly, Rajinikanth had requested the central government to grant him permission to visit the country via a special flight. Reportedly, the central government has allowed Rajinikanth to visit.

Reportedly, the special flight can accommodate 14 people. So, he is likely to take a few family members with him. Dhanush is already in the US for the shooting of The Gray Man. In a Twitter Space session, Dhanush said that he will be back in Chennai in two weeks. It likely that Rajinikanth will head back to Chennai along with his family members and Dhanush. On the work front, Rajinikanth will resume the shooting of Annaatthe once he is back from the US. Directed by Siruthai Siva, Annaatthe stars Nayanthara, Keerthy Suresh, Khushbu, Meena and Prakash Raj.
