Rajinikanth gets Covid-19 vaccination in Chennai

Superstar Rajinikanth received the second dose of the Covid-19 vaccine at a private hospital in Chennai on Thursday, May 13. His daughter Soundarya Rajinikanth accompanied him and shared an update on Twitter regarding his father getting the vaccine jab. She shared a photo of herself standing next to her father, while a medical professional in their PPE kit can be seen injecting the vaccine to Rajinikanth. The Darbar actor looked fit as a horse in a grey T-shirt and black joggers. According to Rajinikanth's publicist Riaz Ahmed, the actor took the Covishield vaccine.

On May 12, Rajinikanth returned to Chennai after completing a month-long schedule of Annaatthe in Hyderabad. Reportedly, huge village sets have been erected at the Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad for the film's shooting. After completing the shoot in Hyderabad, Rajinikanth hopped on a private flight and returned home. His wife Latha Rajinikanth welcomed with aarti. Photos of Rajinikanth making his way out of the Chennai International airport were circulating on the internet. Annaatthe, directed by Siruthai Siva, will release in theatres on November 4. The film stars Rajinikanth, Nayanthara, Keerthy Suresh, Meena, Khushbu, Prakash Raj and Soori in pivotal roles.
