Radhika Apte and Vikrant Mase will replace Mamta and Tovino Thomas in the remake of the Malayalam film Forensic. The motion poster of the movie was released with the caption “no case will go unresolved and forensic will find every criminal.”
Vikrant will play the role of a forensic officer played by Tovino Thomas. Radhika Apte will be playing the role played by Mamta Mohandas. The forensic Hindi remake is directed by Vishal Fouria. Akhil Paul and Ansar Khan directed the Malayalam movie.
The film is being produced by Mansi Bangla and Varun Bangla under the banner of Mini Films and Deepak Mukut under the banner of Soham Rockstar. Vikrant Maase described the Malayalam version of Forensic as an intelligent film.
Vikrant Maase made his acting debut on the miniscreen. He has been seen in films like Lootera, Dil Dhadkane Do and Half Girlfriend. His performance in Konkana Sen Sharma's A Death in the Ganj was also nominated for a Filmfare Best Actor Award. Vikrant's character Bablu from Mirzapur was very popular.
Meanwhile, Radhika Apte is famous for her roles in films like Lust Stories, Phobia, Parched and the thriller series Sacred Games.
