The Coronavirus outbreak is resulting in a lot of shocks to the people. The virus is showing an effect in a lot of industries. The entertainment industry is also at the receiving end of the bad impact. PVR Cinemas confirmed the shut down of the theatres in Delhi, Kerala, and UT of J&K.
The government of India sent an advisory to all the leading multiplex chains in a few states about the shit down. PVR Cinemas is the biggest multiplex chain in the country currently and they are following the orders from the government. In the view of the same, PVR Cinemas sent an official press note to all, confirming the shit down of the theatres. They say that the utmost concern for the safety and well being of their guests is a priority for them.
"This is with reference to advisory issued by states of Kerala, Delhi and UT of Jammu & Kashmir to shut down all cinema Halls till 31st March, 2020 as a precautionary and preventive measure to prevent the spread of COVID-19. All of us at PVR have utmost concern for the safety and wellbeing of each of our guests, and in the same context, we fully respect the decision of respective state governments and UT Administration. We believe that this is a temporary situation and remain buoyant about the film business in India, and our own growth prospects. We also look forward to continuing to serve our guests in the States of Kerala, Delhi and UT of Jammu and offering them a world class movie going experience 1st April 2020 onwards." read a statement from PVR Cinemas.
In adherence of the government's precautionary advisory against #COVID19, #PVR will shut down all cinema halls in Kerala, Delhi, UT of Jammu and Kashmir till 31st March.
