Actor Puneeth Rajkumar has had great success as a producer. He has produced successful films like Kavuladaai and Mayabazar 2016. He is all set to take on another venture. Sources say that the Puneeth will produce Likith Shetty's upcoming film titled Family Pack. Puneeth Rajkumar's PRK Productions will bankroll the film.
Director Arjun Kumar is directing the film. Arjun Kumar and Likith Shetty have previously worked on the hit film Sankashta Kara Ganapathi. Family Pack will be an all-round comedy, says Arjun Kumar. The film shoot will begin after the coronavirus outbreak subsides.
Family Pack will also star actress Amrutha Iyer as the female lead. It will also stars actors Deshraj Rai, Rangayana Raghu, Achyuth Kumar, Dattanna, and Tilak in pivotal roles. Musician Guru Kiran is composing the film's score.
Meanwhile, Puneeth Rajkumar is awaiting the release of his film Yuvarathnaa. Santhosh Ananddram has directed the film. Yuvarathnaa is being bankrolled by Hombale Films. In addition to Puneeth Rajkumar, the film also stars Sayyeshaa, Dhananjay and Radhika Sarath Kumar. The much-awaited film was to hit the theatres in April. But the release date stands postponed due to the coronavirus outbreak.
Rumour has it Puneeth might be collaborating with director Prashanth Neel of KGF fame. Talking about the KGF director, he recently said, "Why wouldn’t any actor want to do a film with him now? We held discussions a long time ago, and we were supposed to a film for which we had even decided on the title, Aahvaana. But it didn’t take off. We will come together soon when it works for both of us."
