PSI: Trisha On Her Famous Selfie With Aishwarya Rai: Mani Sir Saw Both Of Us Like Yapping Away

The premiere of Ponniyin Selvan I, the newest movie from Mani Ratnam, is scheduled for September 30. The star-studded ensemble of the movie is one of the main factors driving social media excitement. On the PS1 set, Trisha and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan recently took a photo that immediately went viral online. Trisha Krishnan has now talked about the viral photo and her relationship with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in an interview.

Trisha stated of her friendship and famous selfie with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, "I was fortunate enough to meet her on the first day of my shoot. She is so friendly. She is already very familiar with the unit as she did many films with Mani sir. And we kinda hit off. Although on day one, we just had probably two shots, and then there is so much hype about the face-off scene and the whole unit was gearing up for that. But by then what had happened was we already hit off and chatted a lot so for that particular scene, Mani sir saw both of us like yapping away and he was like listen, guys, this is a really complicated scene shooting over for two days. So we appreciate it if you guys don't spend time with each other. And that selfie happened on the day of the face-off scene and we just clicked for memories. And you know someone from the unit captured it. It is just memories and Aishwarya ma'am said herself at a press con that we look back and cherish them". PS 1 is the first of two films based on Kalki Krishnamurthy's novel of the same name, published in 1955. The cast of the movie includes Vikram, Jayaram, Prabhu, R. Sarathkumar, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Trisha, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Sobhita Dhulipala, Jayaram, Prakash Raj, Rahman, and R. Parthiban. A. R. Rahman is the composer of the music.
