Kannada film KGF created a sensation in the Indian film industry a couple of years back. The film had hit the screens in December 2018 and was a huge blockbuster at the box office. It turned out to be a commercial success in all the languages it had released in. The film is yet to have its premiere on the Telugu television. Meanwhile, a local cable TV operator has already telecasted this movie. This went to the notice of KGF makers and now, they are planning to sue this concerned TV channel.
Recently, Creative Executive Producer of KGF, Karthik Gowda has shared the screenshots of the Telugu channel playing the film. He tweeted, "A Telugu local channel named #Every^ is playing KGF film illegally. We will move legally against them and sue for their actions. While the satellite deal is on talks and almost finalized, a cable channel does this. We have sample proof with screenshots, videos of the same."
"It will play soon. The deal was almost closed when COVID started. Talks have restarted, so we shloud close soon," he further added.
Directed by Prashanth Neel, KGF stars Yash in the lead role. After the success of the first part, the makers are now busy making its sequel,
KGF Chapter 2. This film will hit the screens on October 23 this year. The makers have revealed that 90% of the shoot got done already. This highly anticipated second part will feature Sanjay Dutt, Raveena Tandon, and Rao Ramesh in the other prominent roles.
