Mega power star Ram Charan's 2016 film 'Dhruva,' an official remake of the Tamil film 'Thani Oruvan' (2015), was a box office smash, grossing over Rs 85 crore.
According to reports, producer NV Prasad is working on a sequel. According to an India Today article, NV Prasad has promised a sequel to the Surender Reddy-directed film. According to reports, GodFather director Mohan Raja, who directed the original, will direct the sequel, in which Ram Charan has committed to star. The CEO of NVR Cinema LLP was confident that a sequel would be successful at the box office because Dhruva was well-liked by the public.
In the film, Rakul Preet Singh played Ram Charan's love interest. Navdeep, Posani Krishna Murali, Sayaji Shinde, Abhinaya, Nassar, and Ali Reza feature significant roles. It's worth noting that Arvind Swamy played the film's antagonist. Hiphop Tamizha composed the music, PS Vinod shot the footage, and Navin Nooli edited it.
Ram Charan is currently working on his 15th film, dubbed RC15 by some and SVC50 by others, and stars Kiara Advani as the female lead. This big-budget film also stars Jayaram, Anjali, Sunil, Srikanth, and Naveen Chandra. S.S. Thaman is scoring the music for this film, with Tirru cranking the camera.
