Priyanka Chopra Shines In A $25 Million Bulgari Necklace At MET Gala 2023

Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra made a statement at the MET Gala in New York City in a black and white Valentino gown. However, the exquisite Bulgari necklace she wore was the real star of the show. As the brand's ambassador, Priyanka wore a blue Laguna diamond necklace, alone worth a staggering ₹25 million or Rs 204 crores. It is the largest blue diamond in a Bulgari piece and the most valuable gemstone ever sold by the luxury brand. The necklace is set to go on auction at Sotheby's Luxury Week in Geneva on May 12, with a pre-sale estimate of over $25 million.

Priyanka shared photos of her MET Gala outing with her husband, Nick Jonas, on social media. Among the pictures, a close-up shot of the necklace was featured. And another showed Priyanka smiling and exposing her open mouth. This year's theme for the MET Gala was "Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty". It is based on a new Costume Institute exhibition exploring the work of the iconic designer. Karl Lagerfeld passed away in 2019 after decades spent creating clothes for several well-known brands. After the MET Gala, Priyanka and Nick attended an after-party, where they changed into different outfits. Nick sported an informal black blazer and loose pants, while Priyanka wore a red shirt gown with a thigh-high slit. Nick also shared a video on his TikTok account that showed Priyanka mimicking Doja Cat's "meow" while playfully interviewed by him.
