Priyanka Chopra And Nick Jonas Have A ‘Date Night’ On The Streets Of Mumbai

Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas had a "date night" on the streets of Mumbai after attending a fashion event at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC). Priyanka took to Instagram to share photos of her outfit from the event and her impromptu rickshaw ride with Nick. The couple smiled at each other in the pictures with the black and yellow Mumbai rickshaw.

Priyanka also thanked her stylists for collaborating on her outfit. The outfit was an amalgamation of vintage and modern styles. The saree she wore was made from a 65-year-old Banarasi patola with silver threads and gold electroplating on khadi silk. She paired it with a sequin sheet holographic bustier. It reflected the nine colors of the ikat weave the brocade was set in. Priyanka thanked Amit Aggarwal for creating the handcrafted beauty and Nita Ambani for the invitation to the event. Nick Jonas and Priyanka smile at one another as they pose with the black and yellow Mumbai rickshaw. She thanked those who helped put together her outfit for the event. She stated, "Thank you @stylebyami as always for your amazing collaboration. I knew I wanted to wear an upcycled vintage look with a modern twist! So my outfit was an amalgamation of the east and the west! Like me! Thank you @amitaggarwalofficial for coming through. And creating this handcrafted beauty with a story that is so apt for an evening celebrating Indian art and Fashion." Priyanka said of her saree, "This beautiful outfit was created using a 65-year-old vintage Banarasi patola. It is a (Brocade)saree with silver threads and gold electroplating on khadi silk. It is paired with a sequin sheet holographic bustier to reflect the nine colors of the ikat weave that the brocade is set in. Thank you for your genius Amit and your gifted team." Finally, she thanked the center's patron and founder Nita Ambani for the invitation to Saturday night's event. She added, "Congratulations #NitaAmbani and @_iiishmagish for creating an incredible exhibition of the history of Indian fashion at the @nmacc.india! So proud of this exquisite space and the potential it has to promote Indian Art and design." Priyanka's one-year-old daughter Malti Marie Jonas joined her in India for the first time, and Nick was visiting after several years. Priyanka and Nick attended two days of events at the NMACC, which showcased the history of Indian fashion. Priyanka's next project is the Prime Video series Citadel, which she stars in alongside Richard Madden. She will also appear in the romantic comedy Love Again in May with Sam Heughan and Celine Dion.
