Priyanka Chopra And Daughter Malti Marie Chopra Jonas Pays Visit To Siddhivinayak Temple In Mumbai

Priyanka Chopra paid a visit to the Siddhivinayak Temple in Mumbai on Thursday with her daughter, Malti Marie Chopra Jonas. Malti, who was born in the US, is visiting India for the first time. The actor's husband, Nick Jonas, was not seen in any visuals from the temple.

Priyanka wore a light green salwar suit, while Malti donned a white dress for the occasion. The actor was seen carrying her daughter during the pooja. Both mother and daughter had a tika put on their foreheads. Priyanka was also photographed posing with an idol of Lord Ganesha at the temple. Several photos and videos of the visit were shared on social media, and Malti looked calm and curious in all of them. However, some social media users criticized the couple for filming and taking photos while seeking blessings. They called it "distasteful" and "all for show." Priyanka and Nick brought their daughter to India for the first time on March 31. The couple was in Mumbai for the grand opening weekend of the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre. Priyanka also danced on stage with Ranveer Singh. After the event, she kickstarted the promotion of her upcoming spy-thriller web series, The Citadel, with co-star Richard Madden. The series will release globally on April 28 in 40 languages. In addition to The Citadel, Priyanka has several other projects in the pipeline, including Love Again with Sam Heughan, Ending Things with Anthony Mackie, Farhan Akhtar's Jee Le Zaraa, and an action film with John Cena and Idris Elba.
