Priya Anand And Mirchi Shiva's Kasethan Kadavulada Shooting Nears Completion

We had earlier reported that the 70s cult classic Tamil film Kasethan Kadavulada will be remade in 2021 by director R Kannan. The family entertainer with a high dose of comedy will feature Mirchi Shiva and Priya Anand in lead roles. The film's shooting commenced last month on July 16 and the makers have planned to complete the film in a single stretch. According to the makers, 80 percent of the film has been completed. The film's shooting is progressing at a brisk pace in and around Chennai. Apart from Shiva and Priya Anand, the film also stars Cooku With Comali and Super Singer Shivaangi, Thalaivaasal Vijay, Manobala, and several other actors.

Director R Kannan, in a statement, said, "I owe a lot to my crew for making sure that the shoot proceeds at the right momentum as planned before its commencement. I especially thank Mirchi Shiva, Priya Anand, Yogi Babu, Oorvsi madam, Karunakaran, and everyone in the team for their earnest support. We have now completed 80% of the shoot and will be wrapping up shortly. We are planning to make the announcements on the audio, trailer, and theatrical release soon.” While N Kannan is scoring music, Prasanna Kumar is handling cinematography. Kasethan Kadavulada is jointly produced by R Kannan's production house Masala Pix in association with MKRP Productions.
