Lucifer directed by Prithviraj, starring Mohanlal, is coming out as a web series in Hindi. Prithviraj revealed that preliminary discussions are underway to do Lucifer in Hindi. The Hindi version will come as an eight-episode mini-series. Prithviraj Sukumaran said that the challenge ahead is to find time to prepare the series. Meanwhile, Lucifer sequel Empuran will start shooting next year.
Lucifer was originally intended as a three-part film. Empuran, which was supposed to shoot in India and abroad, was delayed due to the expansion of Covid.
Lucifer, in which Mohanlal came as a politician Stephen, had over Rs 200 crore collection. Empuran focuses on Qureshi Abram, another face of Stephen. Prithviraj will also be a full-fledged character. In a film companion interview, Prithviraj revealed about the Lucifer Hindi series.
