Prithviraj Sukumaran has started shooting for his upcoming film Bro Daddy with Mohanlal and Kalyani Priyadarshan.

Prithviraj Sukumaran is a powerhouse performer and the entire country is aware of his talent. Two years ago, he caught everyone by surprise when he became a director with Lucifer. The political thriller flick starred Mohanlal, Manju Warrier, and Vivek Oberoi in lead roles. While Lucifer became a blockbuster hit, Prithviraj moved on to his acting projects. It was during the Covid-19 lockdown, Prithviraj decided to et back to the direction. While he was working on the big-budget script, it is difficult to shoot the film in the current situation. Hence he announced another film titled Bro Daddy with is a slice-of-life family drama.

The film's shooting commenced today, July 15, in Hyderabad. Prithviraj doubled up as an actor in the film. Announcing that the shooting has begun, Prithviraj shared a photo with Kalyani Priyadarshan. He wrote,

Mohanlal took to Twitter to share a video of the pooja ceremony before the first shot was called. He wrote,

The family drama is produced by Antony Perumbavoor under Aashirvad Cinemas. The film will hit the theatres later this year.
