Kaappa is the last Prithviraj film that hit the screens. Directed by Shaji Kailas, Aparna Balamurali was the heroine of the film. Asif Ali also played the lead role in the film. The script of the film is based on Indu Gopan's famous novel 'Shankhumukhi'.
Indu Gopan has also written the film for Prithviraj. 'Kaappa' is a film produced in collaboration with Theater of Dreams, Sarigama India Pvt Ltd and FEFCA Writers Union, started in partnership with Jinu V Abraham and Dolvin Kuriakos Dileesh Nair. Sarigama and Theater of Dreams brought the film to theaters. The film also stars Anna Ben, Dileesh Pothan, Jagadish, Nandu and other big stars. Prithviraj's look in the film and his role as 'Kotta Madhu' gained attention on social media even before its release.
Prithviraj also has his upcoming project Aadu jeevitham gearing up for release. The film is a retelling of the famous novel by Benyamin of the same name.
