A few days back, Telugu star heroes acted in a corona awareness song made for Corona Crisis Charity (CCC), set up by the Telugu film industry. Popular music director Koti has composed the song. It featured Megastar Chiranjeevi along with Nagarjuna, Sai Dharam Tej and Varun Tej. The song went viral all over social media. It is also bringing awareness among the people. Even Prime Minister Narendra Modi has appreciated the actors' efforts in bringing awareness through this song. He also urged people to stay at home and win over coronavirus.
Recently, Doordarshan News' official Twitter handle tweeted, "Telegu actors Chiranjeevi, Nagarjuna, Varun Tej and Sai Dharam Tej features in a #Coronavirus awareness music video, recorded from their individual homes; the actors are seen urging everyone to ‘fight the virus’ by staying home, ensuring personal distancing and hygiene."
Quoting that tweet, Narendra Modi tweeted, "చిరంజీవిగారికీ, నాగార్జునగారికీ, వరుణ్ తేజ్ కీ, సాయి ధరమ్ తేజ్ కీ మీరందరూ ఇచ్చిన అతి చక్కని సందేశానికి నా ధన్యవాదాలు. అందరం మన ఇళ్ళల్లోనే ఉందాం. అందరం సామాజిక దూరం పాటిద్దాం. కరోనా వైరస్ పై విజయం సాధిద్దాం. #IndiaFightsCorona (I thank Chiranjeevi Garu, Nagarjuna Garu, Varun Tej and Sai Dharam Tej for giving a great message. Chiranjeevi thanked Modi for his kind words. He wrote, "Thank you Shri @narendramodi ji for your kind words. Varun Tej also expressed his gratitude by commenting, "Sir! Thank you so much!#StayHomeSaveLives." Even Sai Dharam Tej thanked Modi by writing, "thank you, sir."
