A controversial priest has performed Shah Rukh Khan’s funeral rites in connection with the Pathaan controversy. Jagadguru Paramahams Acharya Maharaja performed Shah Rukh’s symbolic funeral rites. The controversy over the song 'Besharam Rang' in Shah Rukh Khan starrer Pathaan is not over. Criticisms and threats against Shah Rukh and the film are coming every day.
Media reports that the incident took place in Ayodhya. Its videos and pictures are widely circulated. Paramahams Acharya had earlier threatened to burn Shah Rukh Khan alive. "Today we burnt the posters of Shah Rukh Khan. The movie Pathan has insulted the color saffron. If I find Shah Rukh Khan anywhere, I will burn him alive," his video went viral.
On the other hand, Pathaan has raised huge pre-release hype as Shah Rukh Khan film. The film is coming after a long gap of four years. But a few days ago, after the release of the film's first song called Beshram Rang, controversies started to erupt. Deepika wore a saffron-colored bikini for the song. This angered a section of the viewers. After that, there were calls not to screen the film and to boycott it.
Pathaan will release on January 25, 2023. Siddharth Anand directs the action thriller film. The director who made Salaam Namaste, Anjana Anjani, Bang Bang and War. Deepika Padukone starrer John Abraham plays another important role.
The film also stars Dimple Kapadia, Shaji Chaudhary, Gautham and Ashutosh Rana. Apart from Hindi, Pathan will also hit the theatres in Tamil and Telugu versions.
