Even post his presidency he is constantly trending over social media for his posts. His most recent tweet shared a list of his favorite music of 2019.

In a long list of songs that Obama himself liked in 2019, Prateek Kuhad's Cold Mess has found a place in the ex-president's heart. Fans of the singer jumped in excitement when they realized that Cold Mess isn't just trending in India for months but is also now a worldwide affair. Kuhad's Cold Mess released first on December 5, 2018, and quickly rose up in the most streamed songs all over various streaming platforms. The song video features Jim Sarbh and Zoya Hussain as a couple going through difficult times as the song plays in the background. Kuhad is mostly known for his independent solo performances. The singer has also sung for films like Bar Bar Dekho. Expressing his excitement over his inclusion in the list he tweeted, "This just happened and I don’t think I’ll sleep tonight. Totally flipping out. I have no idea how cold/mess even reached him but thank you @barackobama, thank you universe I didn’t think 2019 could’ve gotten better, but damn was I wrong. What an honor."
