Legendary American country singer Kenny Rogers has passed away last night. Kenny's death was due to natural causes and he passed away at his home. The 81-year-old singer has won many accolades and awards in his career. His family has announced the news through his Twitter profile about a while ago.

 
"The Rogers family is sad to announce that Kenny Rogers passed away last night at 10:25 PM at the age of 81. Rogers passed away peacefully at home from natural causes under the care of hospice and surrounded by his family," tweeted Kenny's family. Kenny has left a remarkable influence on the country music of America. His music is still cherished by many music lovers across the globe.
 
Kenny got inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2013. They praised him as the man with a distinctive and husky voice. Throughout his career, Kenny had 24 number-one hits. More than 50 million of his album copies got sold in the US alone. He won Country Music Awards for six times and Grammy Awards for three times. Some of his popular works included Through The Years, Lucille, Lady, We've Got Tonight and Islands in the Stream. In 2015, Ken Rogers announced his retirement from the music profession.
 
According to the sources, Rogers' family is planning a small and private service keeping the ongoing coronavirus pandemic in mind. Apparently, they want to celebrate the life of Kenny Rogers with fans and friends sometime later when the things get settled down.
