Ponniyin Selvan Is Selvaraghavan's Favourite Music Album Ever

The historical drama "Ponniyin Selvan 1," was released in theatres in September. Ponniyin Selvan is the highest-grossing Tamil movie of 2022. It is still playing well in theatres three weeks after its debut. The subject of the historical epic drama directed by Mani Ratnam centres on the rise of the Chola Dynasty. AR Rahman wrote the soundtrack for the film. The entire album has become a huge hit.

The filmmaker Selvaraghavan has come forward to say that "Ponniyin Selvan" is his favourite music album of all time. The songs continuing to be at the top of many playlists even today. He wrote,

The album of the film has five songs. ‘Ponni Nadhi’, ‘Chola Chola’, ‘Devaralan Attam’, ‘Ratchasa Maamaney’ and ‘Sol’ are the songs. Based on the novel by Kalki Krishnamoorthy, "Ponniyin Selvan 1" narrates the history of the Cholas. Jayam Ravi, Chiyaan Vikram, Karthi, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Trisha, Jayaram, Prakash Raj, and Sarath Kumar are among the cast members. Ravivarman is in charge of the cinematography. AR Rahman composed the music for the film. In Tamil Nadu, the USA, and several other countries, the historical drama has already earned more money than any other Tamil film.
