Superstar Rajinikanth is on cloud nine about the release of his upcoming film, Darbar, which was helmed by AR Murugadoss. The commercial entertainer, produced by Lyca Productions, features Nayanthara, Suneil Shetty, Prateik Babbar, Yogi Babu and Nivetha Thomas in important roles.
The film which released on January 9 was received with mixed reviews by the audience. Apart from Tamil, the film also released in Hindi and Telugu. Rajinikanth ruled the screen as the bad cop Aaditya Arunasalam, who takes on a mission to bust the drug racket in Mumbai.
Karthik Subbaraj, who directed Superstar Rajinikanth in Petta, is all praises for Thalaivar's performance in Darbar. He took to Twitter to share his thoughts on AR Murugadoss's Darbar.
