"People who act in films that don't even collect Rs 10 lakh are getting Rs 1 crore here. Producers are being cheated. All these films are being marketed here as big hits. It is good to start a bakery in every theatre now. Cakes can be cut there, even for failed films. If only one more bakery can be started there. Cakes can be bought easily. Cakes are cut even for films that don't even have a single show," says Ranjith.
"Our producers and distributors are giving us the invoice for the collection after GST. Not DCR like before. All the producers and distributors have said that they should give that invoice here.
We will release the white paper every three months. This was the collection of that film. Let it be known that the collection of the film that was hyped here is 30 lakhs, 10 lakhs. Let it be known," concludes M. Ranjith.
