Love Aaj Kal, directed by Imtiaz Ali, is often considered as one of the modern romantic classics of Indian cinema. It was also a major hit at the box office. Due to its success in Bollywood, it got remade into Telugu as Teen Maar. Directed by Jayanth C. Paranji, this film featured Power Star Pawan Kalyan, Trisha and Kriti Kharbanda in the lead roles. It's been nine years of its release and thus, let us have a recap into the film.
Teen Maar had hit the screens on 14th April 2011. Bandla Ganesh has bankrolled the project under the banner Parameshwara Art Productions. It traces the difference between the love stories of our generation and the previous generation. It shows us the love story of Michael Velayudham and Meera in the present times. It also moves back to the 80s and showcases the pure love of Arjun Palwai and Vasumathi. Especially, the 80s track received wide acclaim from the audiences. People still love the performance of Pawan Kalyan in the flashback episodes. Paresh Rawal and Sonu Sood have played the other important roles in this movie. Trivikram Srinivas adapted the screenplay of it in Telugu and also penned the dialogues of the film.
Music composed by Mani Sharma is a major asset of the film. Tracks like Chiguru Boniya, Gelupu Thalapule and Vayyarala Jabilli still remain fresh in the minds of the audiences. It was also the first full-length film in the combination of Pawan and Trisha. Earlier, Trisha acted in a cameo in Pawan Kalyan's 2006 film Bangaram.
