Kollywood Star Thala Ajith’s Valimai shooting began this December at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad. This action-thriller starring Ajith as a police officer is being directed by H. Vinoth. The movie has been creating a huge buzz, due to the successful collaboration of this director-actor duo for the film ‘Nerkonda Paarvai’. Both films are produced under the banner Bayview Projects LLP. Valimai is being produced by Boney Kapoor.
According to recent reports, there has been an addition to the star cast of the film. Pavel Navageethan will be seen playing a negative role in the film. The actor has been a part of many action thrillers, namely Dhanush’s Vada Chennai and Karthi’s Madras. He has recently made a directorial debut with the film V1 Murder Case. Pavel has also done dubbing for the character Kawas (played by Sujith Shankar) in Nerkonda Paarvai.
There has been gossip that D Imman is to replace Yuvan Shankar Raja for music composition. Ajith and Imman have earlier worked together for Viswasam. Valimai's female lead is yet to be officially announced. There has been a lot of speculation going around that Yami Gautam will sign.
