Googly director Pavan Wadeyar was shooting for this upcoming film Raymo. He says that the crew almost wrapped the shoot right before the lockdown. The cast and crew are yet to shoot two longs and a fight sequence. Wadeyar is hoping to return to travel to the Himalayas and Rajasthan to complete the shooting after the COVID-19 crisis subsidies.
“We don’t have an alternative, and will have to wait until we get permission to travel outside the state,” he told Cinema Express.
The film follows the tale of a singer. Hence, the music of the film will be a crucial aspect.
On commenting on the music of the film he says he said“Raymo is a love story apt for the present generation. It is also a musical with seven songs. I have joined hands with music director Arjun Janya for the first time, and the film will have some good tunes."
Well-known singers like Arijit Singh, Shreya Ghoshal, Armaan Malik, Sanjith Hegde, Sid Sriram, and Indu Nagaraj will be lending their voice to the film's songs.
The director has said that the film team has completed the dubbing for the film before the lockdown. The editing aspect also completed. He has also completed the rest of technical aspects such as trimming.
The film stars actors Ishan and Ashika Ranganath as the main leads. This is the first film appearance for the pair. Actors Madhoo and Sarathkumar will also star as pivotal characters.
In other news, Pavan Wadeyar has decided to join hands with Raymo producer CR Manohar again for another film in the near future.
