We all know about the devastation created by the coronavirus pandemic. Especially in a country like India, many middle-class and poor people's lives got affected by this pandemic. To help such people, many NGOs, volunteers and celebrities are coming forward by donating money, rice, and other daily essentials. Actor-director Raghava Lawrence also doing his bit by helping those people through his foundation. Now, popular Tamil actor Parthiban lent his hand for the cause. He has donated 1000 kgs of rice to Lawrence's foundation. Lawrence assured that these essentials will definitely reach the people in need.
Parthiban released a video in which he wished Lawrence's mother a very happy birthday. Lawrence posted the video on social media and wrote the following note: 'My big thanks to Parthiban sir for his wishes for my mother’s birthday. Thanks for your love towards me and my family. We all are overwhelmed by seeing your video and thanks for immediately accepting my request and donating 1000 kgs of rice for corona relief. Our team will distribute your donation through the initiative Thai to the right people who are suffering in hunger and we will report the details to you soon. You have a big heart and I’m aware that you are helping in many other places also, I feel so proud to be your friend.'
Lawrence also stated that people who want to donate can contact his foundation. His note read, 'After seeing this video if anyone wants to come forward like Parthiban sir and help. Please contact: 877-8338209. Even one handful of rice will fill many people’s hunger, service is god.'
