The highly acclaimed program Criminal Justice 3 is back with a complicated case: the death of a well-known child star named Zara Ahuja, and the main suspect in her murder is her own brother, Mukul Ahuja. Pankaj Tripathi makes his return as Madhav Mishra and takes on his toughest case yet. With Shweta Basu Prasad, Swastika Mukherjee, Purab Kohli, Aditya Gupta, Deshna Dugad, and Gaurav Gera at his side, Madhav Mishra is back with wit and humor. It is based on the same named British television series from 2008.
Adhura Sach, a film on criminal justice, is directed by Rohan Sippy and made by Applause Entertainment in collaboration with BBC Studios. The third season of the show will include a confrontation between Madhav Mishra and Lekha, a determined lawyer who constantly keeps him on his toes. A woman called Avantika (Swastika) approaches Pankaj at his door and asks him to represent her son Mukul, who is charged with killing his own sister, Zara Ahuja. The trailer opens with Pankaj knocking on Avantika's door.
The core of Madhav Mishra, according to Pankaj Tripathi, is that he appears to be everyone's lawyer, which makes him sympathetic to viewers. His ability to make complex ideas simply put the person seeking advice at ease. In Criminal Justice: Adhura Sach, he develops into a versatile attorney who takes on many responsibilities for clients whose intentions he is unclear. He says he is overjoyed to return as Madhav Mishra.
Shweta stated that the program has always attracted her and that being a part of the legacy is amazing. She added, "I wrote a backstory to understand the various facets of my character and discover her responses to Madhav Mishra. I made it a discipline to read the script every evening between 6-8 for about 20-25 days, by the time I was on set I had read the script about 150 times. This is the second time I’m working with Pankaj Tripathi, and he is a walking masterclass on sets and one of the most graceful co-stars I have had".
The third episode of Pankaj Tripathi's online series Criminal Justice will debut on Disney+Hotstar on August 26.
