Chiyaan Vikram, Pa Ranjith, GV Prakash Kumar, Arya, veteran actor Sivakumar, and KE Ganavelraja attended the pooja of 'Chiyaan 61,' and filming for the film begins today.
Chiyaan Vikram was observed with long hair and a big beard, implying that the versatile actor has adopted a new appearance for the film. The soundtrack will be composed by GV Prakash Kumar, and the film is anticipated to be titled 'Maidhaanam.' The producers previously revealed that the film would be a periodic action drama similar to 'KGF,' with filming taking place in actual KGF locales. The high-budget drama will also be shot in 3D, with a release date set for Summer 2023.
Meanwhile, Arya and Sivakumar's presence at the pooja for 'Chiyaan 61' raises the possibility that they may play important roles in the film.
Vikram’s upcoming projects include Ponniyin Selvan 1 and Cobra. The actor’s Suryaputra Mahavir Karna is on hold due to differences between the film’s director and producer.
