Nysa Devgan Jokes About Being Called Nisha; Teaches The Media How To Pronounce Her Name Properly In A Video

Nysa Devgan, the daughter of Ajay Devgn and Kajol, went out to dinner on Thursday with Mouni Roy, Tushar Kalia, and other friends, including Orhan Awatramani, who is also an actress. Nysa briefly interacted with the paparazzi as she and Orhan, commonly known as Orry, departed the restaurant to enter their waiting car. Nysa got inside the car and told the photographers that her name is Nysa, which sounds more like Nissa, as they kept calling her "Naaysa" and asking her to pose for pictures.

Nysa Devgan opened her car door, urged them to say her name correctly, and then demonstrated how to do so. Photographers then repeatedly yelled "Nisha-Nisha" while failing to address Nysa by her given name. As a result, Nysa and the others were spotted laughing as they got into the car and drove off. On a paparazzo's footage, an Instagram user said, "Naaysa sounds better than Nisa tbh (to be honest)." Another one copies the paparazzi, and joked, “Nasha, it is then.” The actors Kajol and Ajay Devgn, who wed in February 1999, have a daughter named Nysa Devgan. Nysa was born in April 2003, and Yug Devgan in September 2010. Nysa frequently appears with her friends in paparazzi and fan page images and videos as they celebrate and travel, both in India and overseas. She recently had a holiday with her friends in Jaisalmer. She had previously travelled to Mumbai with mother-actor Kajol to attend the opening of the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre. Kajol stated that her daughter "is known all over the world" in an interview from last year. She recalled a situation where Nysa was approached on a bus and asked to sign an autograph. At the time, Nysa was a student in Singapore. In a December 2022 interview with Mashable India, Kajol spoke of the incident. She said, “At that time, there was no social media so I think life was much easier for us as children. Yes, people knew I am Tanuja’s daughter and there was a certain pre-conceived notion but not as much as it is today. Nysa was studying in Singapore. A few times people have stopped her on the bus and took her autograph.”
