NOTA Actress Yashika Aannand Suffers Severe Injuries In Road Accident, Her Friend Dies On The Spot

Tamil actress Yashika Aannand made her debut in films by playing a supporting role in Jiiva and Kajal Aggarwal's Kavalai Vendam. On Sunday (July 25) midnight, she met with a major car accident, which claimed the life of her friend Vallichetty Bhavani. Reportedly, her car was overspeeding on the East Coast Road in Mahabalipuram. Her car hit the center median and fell into the pit near the road. Yashika was traveling with Bhavani and two male friends, Syed and Amir. While Yashika, Syed, and Amir suffered serious injuries, Bhavani, unfortunately, lost her life. She was 2 years old and a Hyderabad-based techie working in the US.

The commuters recused Yashika, Syed, and Amir and rushed them to a nearby hospital for treatment. From there, they were transferred to a private hospital in Chennai. Bhavani's body has been sent to Chengalpet hospital for autopsy. Yashika seems to have suffered fractures in her arm, foot, and hit and is currently in the Intensive Care Unit. However, she is said to be in a stable condition. The police who are investigating the case have registered a case under three sections. However, it is unclear if she was booked for drunken driving.
