Actors Nithiin and Akhil Akkineni are close-buddies for a long time. In fact, Nithiin is the one who bankrolled Akhil's maiden film Akhil. Unfortunately, that film turned out to be a flop at the box office. At that time, Nithiin said that he will produce another film with Akhil to give him a hit. Later, reports stated that they both had a spat. Even they were not seen together anywhere. We now hear that there are no differences between them. Moreover, the buzz suggests that Nithiin will be producing Akhil's next film which will get directed by Surender Reddy.
According to the sources, Surender Reddy recently narrated a story to Akhil. The actor has liked it as well. Surender Reddy later narrated it to Nithiin and even he liked the story. Thus, Nithiin has decided to produce it with Akhil as the hero. He, along with his father Sudhakar Reddy, will bankroll the film under the banner Shreshth Movies. We hear that the shoot of this film will go on floors this year itself.
Meanwhile, Akhil is currently acting in the film Most Eligible Bachelor. Directed by Bommarillu Bhaskar, this movie features Pooja Hegde as the heroine. It will release towards the end of this summer. On the flip side, Nithiin is currently high on the success of Bheeshma. He also has three films in hand. They are Venky Atluri's Rang De, Chandrashekar Yeleti's untitled project and Merlapaka Gandhi's Andhadhun remake. All of them might hit the screens in this year itself.
