Actor Nikhil Siddharth has scored a big hit last year with the film Arjun Suravaram. He is currently acting in two films, Karthikeya 2 and 18 Pages. Karthikeya 2 is the sequel of the 2014 film of the same title. Directed by Chandoo Mondeti, the shoot of this film has already begun. This film will have a pan-Indian release. If the ongoing rumors are anything to go by, Nikhil is planning to dub his own voice for all the five language versions.
Karthikeya 2 is being made in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam. Apparently, Nikhil is planning to dub his own voice in all the versions. It seems that he is also getting trained in these languages, to get more control over the diction. This is an interesting feat by Nikhil and we have to see how far will it help the film in grabbing the attention of the pan-Indian audiences.
Karthikeya 2 will revolve around the concepts of old temples and archaeology. Nikhil and Swati are reprising their roles from the original. There will be another female lead role in the movie. We hear that Anupama Parameswaran is being considered for this character. Karthikeya 2 is being produced jointly by Abhishek Agarwal and TG Vishwa Prasad. It will hit the screens towards the end of this year.
On the flip side, Nikhil has also launched another film 18 pages. This film is being directed by Surya Pratap of Kumari 21f fame. Sukumar has penned the story of it. Bunny Vaas is bankrolling this project under GA2 Pictures.
