Netizens slam Bollywood celebrities by trending #BollywoodActOnCorona for not donating towards corona relief funds.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has ordered a 21-day lockdown of the country on the 24th of this month. It has been three days since the lockdown got implemented. People are staying at home and avoiding going out. But there are a lot of daily wage workers who have lost their income source due to the lockdown. To support those people and also to help the governments, celebrities across the world are donating funds. But Bollywood celebrities are busy posting their workout and cooking videos during this lockdown. Thus, the netizens are slamming them to stop being stupid. They urged stars to help their bit in supporting the people in need. Then, they started trending the hashtag #BollywoodActOnCorona.

Global celebrities like Shawn Mendes, Novak Djokovic, Roger Federer, Elon Musk, Rihanna, Aaron Paul, Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively, and Bryan Cranston have announced their support to the people in need. Coming to India, regional stars have come forward to help the government in this cause. South Indian stars like Rajinikanth, Chiranjeevi, Pawan Kalyan, Ram Charan, Jr NTR, Nithiin, and Sai Dharam Tej have donated in crores to help the government to fight the issue. They have also announced support to film workers as most of them depend on daily wages.

On the flip side, Bollywood is being hypocritical as usual. They are giving Gyan on social media. They are posting their cooking and workout videos but there is no news about their donations. Thus, millions of users on social media are trending #BollywoodActOnCorona. We have to see if this trend brings any change in the B-Town stalwarts.
