The ongoing Coronavirus pandemic has brought upon a health crisis like no other. It has surpassed the intensity of the SARS virus and the world is clearly unprepared. To tackle any further spread of the virus, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has put in a temporary lockdown for the entire country. The lockdown has forced people of all backgrounds into their homes and unable to get out. Bollywood actors and actresses are now also stranded at home with not much to do. This has led many of them to use social media more frequently. Now actor Neha Dhupia has shared her experience of the pandemic in an interview with Hindustan Times.
She said, "As we honor and support the heroic efforts of community health workers, 'One World: Together At Home' aims to serve as a source of unity and encouragement in the global fight to end COVID-19."
"We're staying clean and hygienic. As parents, we always tend to panic. But Angad (Bedi; husband) has been amazing, too, and that's a big help," she added.
She also said that she is taking the utmost care of her daughter and managing food habits very strictly. She said, "We're keeping her dietary habits healthy and keeping her as active at home as she was when she would step out. I'm also trying to make sure that she sits in the balcony and gets enough sunshine."
Dhupia also joked and said that this will be a great story to tell Mehr as she grows up. She added saying, "I've been teaching her to fold clothes and clean the wardrobe. I believe children are intuitive. Our daughter hasn't been throwing any tantrums. I think this will be a story to tell her when she grows up."
