Nandamuri Balakrishna is in dire need of a hit right now. His last three films have failed to perform well at the box office. Now, he is planning to strike back hard with his next film NBK 106, which is being directed by Boyapati Srinu. If the latest grapevine is anything to go by, Balayya will be the hero as well as the villain in this movie.
A few days back, it got reported that Roja will play the villain role in this movie. But Roja denied it as a mere rumor and cleared all the air. A couple of days back, it got reported that Bhumika Chawla will play the antagonist role in the film. We have no clarity on this news yet. Bhumika has recently worked with Balayya in Ruler. The latest we hear that Balayya will himself play the role of hero and villain in this film. That is the reason why he is sporting a bald look with salt and pepper beard in one of the roles in the movie. Though it is not officially announced yet, the sources claim it as a true report.
The first schedule of the film got wrapped up successfully. The second schedule will begin once the lockdown gets over. This is the third film in the combination of Balayya and Boyapati, after Simha and Legend. Thus, there are a lot of expectations on the film. Anjali will be playing the female lead in this film. It is being produced by Miriyala Ravinder Reddy. The film will hit the screens mostly towards the end of this year.
